Well guys, finances and a friend in need decided I needed a roommate, so it looks like I need to clear out some space. I contacted a local collector, but haven't heard back from him, so here we go..

Make me an offer, purchase or trade if you see anything you like. I know for sure that I am interested in a Rainbow SE, to replace mine which got stolen, outside of that, make me an offer and we can go from there..

First up, Kenmore twin fan, 2 speed, with hose and adapter. The tools are not original, but they do fit the hose. Works great, loud in the classic twin fan manner, picks up great, hose suction is a bit lackluster, but it will get the basics of above floor cleaning.

Atlas

Cute isn't she? A bit flashy, not the kind of vac you would take home to mom, but so fun to play with.

Hose is a replacement, using original ends. The original red braided hose was too stiff and leaky for use, however I saved it in case it is wanted for display.

I shortened the cloth bag per instructions I found in the archives, which did increase performance as promised, however I did not cut off the excess material, so if someone wants to they can remove the stitches I put in and still have the original full length bag.

The only original tool is the bare floor and wall brush, the others are Electrolux, however they are a suprisingly good match to the gray base of the vacuum.

Performance for the Atlas is on par with Electrolux of the era, pretty good, nothing intense Like a Compact, but enough to get your home clean without eating your drapes in the process, lol.

Hoover Concept 2 Electronic

I'm pretty fond of this great beast, it runs great, and with the section set on high is a pretty amazing performer, even for a Hoover, (don't tell the Kirby, but I think the hoover out performed him). Also it is self propelled, thank the lord for it is heavy.

The Hand vac works also, and is stronger than I expected it to be, much more than a "dust buster", lol.

The cord has 2 spots with black electrical tape where the outer covering was scraped, but there was no bare wire showing, the inner covering was intact.

The one cord unplugs from the upright, and is switched back and forth from the upright to the handvac, an interesting set up, but it makes for a stronger handvac than a rechargeable would have provided.

Kirby Heritage 2

This one came all together, without me having to search for a single replacement attachment. Everything is there, all the basic attachments, the spray gun, the shampooer assembly, the portable handle and strap, and the miracle head, even the instruction manual.

It runs like a dream, as all Kirbys tend to do, lol.

Gold/orange Flower Power Compact

This thing is so 60's. The flower decals are intact, full set of the basic glitter attachments, however there is a small crack in the crevice tool, but it is still functional.

There is one spot on the cord with electrical tape, the outer covering was scraped but there was no bare wire showing, the inner covering was intact.

The power head cord has been repaired at some point, there is a spot where another section of cord was joined onto it with electrical tape, however it is fully functional.

The suction on this one is pretty amazing, it is actually almost too strong for bare floors when it has a fresh bag, wanting to grab a little too tight to the floor, lol.

Rainbow Chrome Dome

Now for my ugly duckling. This old gal could use a full restoration, but Im not sure I have it in me.

She still runs pretty great, but the bearings are starting to sound a little dry. Outside of that, the issues are cosmetic, her chrome is rusty, there are some dents and dings here and there, and some flaking of her paint, but she marches on valiantly, and wears her scars proudly, still running, still cleaning.

The power head is from the model after this one I think, but it is the one it came to me with, and works perfectly, I actually prefer it to the earlier white one, which looked too generic for my tastes.

The only missing attachment is the crevice tool, other than that she is pretty complete, a bit odd looking, but all there. The odd looking attachment in front of the large water tank for shampooing is the polichamp, a polisher which is a bit hard to find.

Also, I'm fairly sure she is wearing her mother's wheeled base rather than her own, not quite sure how that happened either, but at least she can still get around.

Yes boys, the old gal has led a hard life, and has cobbled on a part here and an' attachment there as her own aged and wore down over the years I suppose, but wont someone love her anyway, just for her sheer determination to live? lol

Eureka Whisk

This cute little handvac runs great, and has some pretty awesome suction with it's little 3 amp motor. Unfortunately the bags are no longer available, so to use it you will have to manufacture your own bags somehow.

The hose is original, but has split.

Hoover Polisher / Scrubber

This one would look cute next to the Flower power compact, they are like a matched set by different companies, lol. I actually always kept them next to each other, it just somehow looked right.

The polisher does work great, but it only has the hard floor scrubbing brushes and the felt buffing pads, the clips to hold on the felt pads are missing, I'm not sure where they went.

Regina Steemer Plus Shampooer

This one came to me still in the box, with the attachment hose and the manual. Im not sure where the manual currently is, but I am attempting to locate it.

Cosmetically, its awesome, and it does get the job done, but it could use a bit of work, a replacement valve on the detergent receptacle so the bottles don't fill with water as the detergent empties out, and there is a slight leak from somewhere in the dispense tubing. I had planned on fixing it, but I need to make room for the roommate, and between my finances and school, I don't know when I would find the time.

Hoover Steam Vac Shampooer

This one works pretty good, the foam filter has been misplaced, and one of dirty water tank latches could use replacement, but it still works.

Its a little beat up, but it does still get carpets clean.

Shag Carpet Nozzle

This one is unmarked, but it looks like an Electrolux nozzle I have seen on the site. I don't really have any shag carpet, but maybe one of you know which machine this one is for, and happen to have some shag to use it on...

Eureka Vibra Beat Carpet Nozzle

This one is fun to use, but pretty noisy. Still fully functional, the beads on the bottom vibrate, beating the carpet as you vacuum. If I understand correctly, these are hard to find, as housewives tended to find them more trouble than they were worth, so they became lost or got tossed over the years.

Eureka Vibra Beat Nozzle, Bottom View

In case anyone wondered what the bottom of one looks like. The 3 rows of beads vibrate like crazy as the vacuum sucks air past them, making enough racket to simply scare the dirt out of the carpet if the suction and beating don't work, lol.

Paging Kevin....Paging Kevin....

Kevin:

I've been trying to reach you at your .edu email address, and have not heard back. I am interested in one of the machines shown, and would like to discuss it with you.

Could you contact me at [email protected] ? I am not an upgraded member on this forum, so private messaging is not an option for me.

Thanks!

Regina Steemer, Concept Two, and Flower Power Compact

Hello. I am interested in the three machines listed above. I would love to acquire such machines. Could you give me your starting price so I can see if I can afford them and shipping (hopefully it is cheap, do not have that much money). Maybe we could even trade for something that I have in my collection. Thank you and please respond as soon as possible.
