That sounds like a tv show sitcom....Dusting With Ollie..stay tuned when we visit his friend Wilma Washing Machine & her domestic partner Danielle Dryer!! It's a hit!!! Keeping them company is David Deep Freeze..lol later on we'll visit the noses neighbor Hortensia Hair Roller & Leticia Lawnmower.. Michelle I just love all your pics & like I said you are 1 amazing woman...puts Mothra Stewart to shame!!!

Michelle, looks like you got a great Electrolux there! Did you get a PN & electric wand to go with it as well? By the way, don't know if you noticed, but from your first pic with the dusting brush in it, it looks like your dusting brush bristles need to be replaced.

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">"Dusting with Ollie"</span> Is filmed in front of a live studio audience (of over 100 Chainsaws, Clock-Radios, Mixers, and a hand-full of Chevettes and Fieros). Today's program is bought to you by Electrolux, The original since 1924. Color Broadcasting has been paid for by DeSoto. DeSoto, Try a DeSoto defore you decide.

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">"Dusting with Ollie"</span> is broadcasted weekdays from 2-4, right after "Kirbyrama VI", and before "Chevette Championship".

Michelle, I loved today's episode! i can't wait until Season II is released, I hear Luxy meets this young Hoover next door, but Luxy doesn't think she's ready for a relationship! The ratings will sky-rocket in the same way they did for that other T.V show, the one where we drop two vacuum abusers in a vacuum warehouse, and they have to survive they way out!

I'll set the VCR for 8:00 P.M tomorrow, "You bet your Electrolux" comes out with Season 8 then!

...but Luxy soon found out Hoover was secretly married, not in two but three states. Yes, Hoover was a polygamist, and even sooner still she fell head over heels for The Great Kirbyrama, because he was loyal and true just as sure is the sky is blue. And I think we all know how it ends...Happily Ever After.

Next week's episode, Luxy gazes into The Great Kirbyrama's loving eyes and her soul raptures into " Carmina Burana " and she is fearful for what the future holds! For on the morrow he rides as Arthur with his brave knights of The Round Table against Mordred and his evil band of  " Plastic Explosive Vacs!" This will be an episode you must see to believe, please stay tuned for further developments!

And if you don't have the foggiest what " Carmina Burana " means, here's a link.

Rob

Hi there! Well I initially was just buying the vacuum itself, but the guy I got him from was so cool that he threw in the dusting brush, original hose, and the rug cleaner! Sorry, I'm not exactly sure what the tools are called. Still learning. I did buy a model g from someone else off of here and he threw in a PN and the attachment wand for it that just so happens to be for an Olympia One! The blue attachments I was using for Ollie were from my dear Luxy 1205. I just grabbed the first tools I could reach, plus the aluminum pipes are from Luxy too. My husband bought Luxy for me a year or so ago off of EBay. She came with everything!!! So, if my bristles on my brush need to be changed, how do you go about doing that??? Also, where do you buy replacement bristles??? Thanks for informing me, would have never known!!! :) -Michelle

lol Calem, and to think Luxy was going to audition for "The Vacuumette", that show where some lucky vacuum gets to date guy vacuums of  her choice, and eliminate them one-by-one by handing out crevice tools!

Bristles should be easy to replace. I think they pull out from the brush, they should be attached to a metal wire!

Alex

Thanks for the bristle info! You 2 are too funny! Gotta love having a vivid imagination! Sammy and I do the same thing here, we think of our in adamant objects as having souls and personalities! Too cute! :) -Michelle

Personalities

Believe me, after you've tangled with a cantankerous Electrolux XXX who's having a bad day, picked up pieces of its after filter that's decided today is a good day to shred all to pieces, had to hunt down and reset a breaker after the power cord decides to burn into right where it goes into the Belden plug at the base of the vac, only to give up in defeat, put grouch back into the closet so he can finish his hibernation, and pull out a more amicable Silverado or Super J to finish up.....you will CERTAINLY believe wholeheartedly that they have personalities!!

I love the O1 you have there! That's the vac that started it all for me, I grew up listening to the sound of the Olympia's motor and I still have that old vac in my personal collection. I also have another Olympia one that's in nearly new condition and that was my go-to vac today actually!

As for the tv show......now THATS entertainment! I'd watch every episode of a show like that! I'm completely fed up with this reality stuff personally!
