I was watching "Concentration" last night, the version from the early 1970s with host Bob Clayton. Naturally, my interest was piqued when one of the prizes was a vacuum cleaner. It turned out to be a Eureka canister, dark yellow in color, with a power nozzle that had a "genuine woodgrain" appliqué on the top of it. I am not really familiar with Eurekas of that era so I don't know anything about it.
There were some episodes of "Match Game" with Hoover Celebrity, Hoover Power Drive and Electrolux Super J vacuum cleaners as "consolation prizes." And one of the prizes on "Queen for a day" was a Compact.
