I'm looking for vacuum bags for the Viking Electronic 739 Vacuum NIB Electrolux turbomatic. I understand that the Electrolux Type C bags can be used if adapted to fit. I have two bags left. Is there anyway to reach the manufacturer in Sweden? I've looked everywhere for bag and found nothing. I bought the vacuum while stationed in Sweden some ten years ago, and we wouldn't trade it for any other vacuum on the market today. I find it hard to believe that bag aren't still available for a vacuum of this quality.

Any suggestions. (see photo)

This will probably be your best bet.

The Viking cleaners, as I'm sure you know, are the same as the Electrolux tank/cylinder cleaners that were widely sold in the UK. Bags for these models are readily available from a variety of sellers over there.

For my British and European machines, I use a seller called "eSpares". They have bags and other parts available for many different models, and they're willing to ship to the USA and accept PayPal. Their shipping prices are fairly reasonable to boot.

I've included a link to some generic bags for the Electrolux Z345 (which is a similar model to the Viking) on the eSpares website: I'll add a link to some OEM Electrolux bags also just in case you'd prefer those to generics.

Hi,

Hi, I believe the bags for your Viking are the same E6 bags as our Electrolux Turbomatic over here in the UK.

The E3 bags for the Electrolux 345 are different and don't have the small "lugs"at the top of the cardboard.

Here's a link for some bags on ebay.co.uk. The first three packs are copy/generic bags and the pack on the right are a genuine pack. I believe you can still buy the genuine ones still.
