That is a B-88 on your D31X, and I know they used the CA-96 on many Royal tanks, with the only difference being the hookups and color. Have seen an 88/AN96 in blue before. I think for the 250th do a Filter Queen styled like a K31X in all chrome, with an American flag on the front of the tank and the hose striped like a barber pole with red hookups and an American Flag power nozzle!I don't know about Whirlpool or Panasonic nozzles being used by Royal, but I believe most of their power nozzles were made by Air-Way or Filter Queen. I'm sure Tom G. would know for sure who built which one. Here's a pic of my model 31X Filter Queen with power nozzle for comparison.
