Had about 5 pallets of vacuums that hat have been at the place I work for 3 years. I decided to attempt to save them or as many as possible. I basically had the sole stipulation of fixing them cheap enough to be worth while. Most were displays, Amazon returns etc.

Casualties-
Hoover Tempo bagged, beyond repair needed virtually everything
Hoover twin chamber bagless, missing too many parts, I used what was there to fix another twin chamber which was unused but had no handle
Bissell Healthy Home, basically needed 4 units to make one that worked

Saved-
Hoover Windtunnel Twin Chamber
Bissell healthy Home
Electrolux Nimble
Hoover Twin Chamber with folding handle
LG Kompressor
Hoover Platinum bagged
Eureka (took type RR bags, forget model)
Dyson DC24

There are a few pending, including quite a few Kenmore canisters

I'd part it out if it was remotely salvageable

This stuff was mostly junk, a few still pending are in great shape and or new but the parts outweigh the cost of replacement and my labor to fix them or are impossible to find. I may part these out if it is cost effective.

Deep in cold (ok, non-climate-controlled) storage here at KSSRC, there sits the remnants of many vacuums. There is no dumpster, only more storage! Who knows when somebody might need something!
