Can you tell me what the main differences are between the Decade 80 and the 800? If and when you have time,I know you're busy, thanks! Billy

I'll have to check again, BUT.....

I believe there really is nothing. Decade 800 came out AFTER Decade 80.... because it became 1990.... Hoover couldn't keep saying "80" when the actual decade changed.
Over the years, however, minor changes, dirt cup, cloth bag,etc. But, mechanically, same machine.
