We 've heard the "story". I know the teller personally.
Some of it MIGHT be true.

Ok..I’ve heard the story a few times here and there and found it to be very interesting. Whether if it’s true or not this particular model has earned a reputation and semblance for an incredible actress and a timeless sitcom 
Either way it’s a very Bewildering and Bewitching Hoover convertible! Look at the spell that has been cast for collectors to compare proposed facts to that of assumed fiction-Endora would refer to this is mere mortal bickering- This Hoover has had collectors spell-bound with fables and fiction for years which will continue for many more to come

And, I agree with you that Agnes Moorhead was an incredible actress. Gotta love her beguiling hairdo and make-up in BEWITCHED, also! Along with that sitcom I've enjoyed her performances in several other TV programs in addition to movies. My aunt, who worked at the famed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, was blessed to meet Miss Moorhead sometime in the 1970s when the actress received medical care and found her to be very warm and personable.
