Which key ring?
It’s been a while since I seen the episode, it was an earlier one in his house. He also pretended that he was a Kirby salesman in S2E1 to get a fugitive they were looking for. What episode of dog the bounty hunter has many kirby's featured?
I'd call it a mix of both. Companies that pay for the show want their product used somewhere, or might give a bonus if they do. And for set designers, going through the prop house they might just look at whatever "pops" to them for that scene. Maybe something with loud colors, or being ridiculous and over the top for a gag, or just something to go with a particular decade the show is set in.. I'd love to see the vacuum cleaners section in a prop warehouseOne wonders if the choice of vacuum in these shows was a matter of paid product placement or whatever happened to be in some producers closet or floating around the studio ?
