That isn't the worst I have heard of. $200 isn't that bad. Good work.
I’d never seen anything like it before honestly. I didnt know these even existed. I collect a lot of mechanical antiques and was honestly surprised at myself for not knowing central vacuums existed when they did (i thought all that came about in the 70’s-80’s at the earliest!)

I love the thing tho. It’ll definitely be well taken care of, and certainly used for its purpose. I got curious and looked through my 1927-1928 edition of Sweet’s Architectural Catalog and sure enough, TUEC had a couple pages in there followed by Spencer.
