Apparently I sucked up an immovable object with my Kirby 515 and broke the original 10 blade metal fan. Anyone have or know where I can find a replacement fan?
I know there's a Lexan fan replacement but it doesn't look like it would work as well (blades are smaller).
Original part number appears to be A1189S according to the service manual but I'm hitting on zero with web searches for that part.fan.jpg

Oh wow I wonder if it was metal fatigue? I can't imagine something would break that fan so easily. I have a Kirby Sentria motor that I have to be careful with. Someone vacuumed up a sewing needle with it and the needle has speared through the side of the fan assembly and is protruding from the vacuum body about 1". You'd have to see it to believe it. I sliced my fingers nasty on it when unboxing it as the seller neglected to tell me that was there.
