I'm not sure when it was made so I'm putting it here.
I was waiting for another one to show up since I gave my other one away before the big move of 06
It looks like the same shape crevice tool on my late model Eureka The Boss Mighty Might. Actually, my tool has a notch out of the center end on one side, notch out of the bottom on the other. Thought it was like yours.
Greg wins the prize, Alan you get the luggage for coming in second. LOL A Fairfax it is. Not too bad a shape, a little tape on the hose up top I can replace with renowned latexy stuff I've forgotten whatchamacallit.
What I don't like about Fairfaxs now I remember from my last one is all these darned wires everywhere,, LOL
Terry I think they did have an electrified hose which would certainly be better than the mess o wire snaking all over these ones. It really is a cumbersome contraption I think but it looks cool. I was just vacuuming the little short nap rug down here in my workshop where I sit on the pc, always coated in dog hair cause the dogs lay down at my feet..and it did a crappy job of vacuuming up the hair. Lots of passes required to get it up of the rug considering it's a Eureka VGII type brushroll.. I think it has to do with the fact that the power nozzle isn't adjustable like they are with the Dial a Naps on the uprights.
Seems like I have heard others say the same thing about their cleaning ability Pete. It sure would be nicer with an electric hose. They may not do the best of job but they sure are fun to look at!!!
That's quite possible David.. I haven't spent any time fiddling with it yet, it sounds like there may be some loss on the connections but I figured the bristles look good so would have hoped for better.
