All info and details will be posted by the end of the weekend. Plans are finally underway. I was at the hotel this morning and at the venue for the Sat p.m. dinner. Lots of fun things are planned. So, get ready to come to SCRANTON: "The Electric City". Dates are: June 23, 24, and 25.
Stay tuned....................................

Some things planned are:

Demonstration by a vacuum company rep, cleaning contest, general meeting, including elections, opportunities to visit thrift stores(including a giant flea market), garden party at my home, lunch and visit to Joe Kassock's home, visit to local vac shop, closing dinner (banquet to some) at a fantastic Italian eatery.
Perhaps a visit to an Anthracite coal museum, Steamtown train museum, The Houdini Museum, are options as well.

So,

I recall seeing pictures of the last meeting. I seem to recall the pictured attendees were without masks.

Did any of the attendees end up testing positive for Covid-19?

Thanks, Will.

Yes, plans are underway for the upcoming V.C.C.C. (That stands for The Vacuum Cleaner Collectors' Club)..the one and only VCCC.Some might confuse, or try to confuse others with something different. The club is registered / banks, tax I.D. etc as The V.C.C.C.. Our last convention was before COVID. thus, no masks. Anyone who feels safer, better, more comfortable wearing a mask is certainly welcome to wear one without judgement.
More info very soon.
The mask mandate has been lifted at our college. However, I still wear one when there are crowds, especially since I have students from 7 different countries.

Sorry for the delay

(Last minute contract stuff) The info will be on here as well as on the V.C.C.C. website.
We'll post the direct number so a s not to have to go to the national number.
People will meet on Thursday afternoon..meet (board meeting) setups, etc.
ONE of the nice things is that nobody will have to pay separately for any meals this time. (people who attend any conventions/mini meets/ mega meets have gone to restaurants, etc..So, there IS a 'cost ' involved.
We have great meals planned, a few outside activities, trips to 2 collector's homes a list of museums, attractions in the area, plus a few little surprises in store.
