Jimmy Martin was a wonderful host during my visit to his shop in Elizabethton! I found many wonderful machines! You would not believe the shear number of vintage machines that are tucked away! This load will keep me busy for a while!

Others

Obscured by other vacs: Packard Upright (Maybe 1920's?), Two Kenmores (One of which looks like a Cylon), an ultra rare Sanyo Upright can be seen on the far edge, a Bissell Powergroom (Singer upright, has a dead motor but i ordered a new one), Eureka Emperor (Dead motor, going to have the commutator rebuilt), Hoover Model 825 with original bag, Hoover Model 700 Special with original bag (its flawless!)

could you please post.....

a nice clear up close picture of that Singer like thing with the stripped bag sitting next to the Bissell upright? I have NEVER seen that before....is it a Singer? or something else?

Oddity

1926700,

That is a Sanyo upright, looks like a twin fan but is only single fan. Its flawless other than a chip in the fan. I will post a pic soon!

Yes, that is certainly unusual. Who would've thought that it is not a Singer? I would also like to see some pictures of the one with the bag that says "Lite-O-Matic" on the bag...is that the Packard, or is it a Cadillac?

There sure is some great stuff in that pile! Jimmy has a great treasure chest of a store.

Light O Matic

This is actually a Bee-Vac, made by Birtman Electric Company. This is much older than my Self-Adjusting Bee Vac that is painted a flat gray color.

The Universal?

This reminds me of the Universal Upright and the Anser vacuum that someone posted on here a while back. This one is dubbed The Carpetmaster. Cool vac!

the Vac Shop

"jack-o-lantern Connie"-We sometimes decorate for the seasons. One year we had a witch doll crash a Dirt devil Broom Vac on front of store.
"Eureka self proppelled"-Is very nice EXCEPT was last used after remodeling job and picked up nails, etc. Will be on next weeks EBay.The fan and lower bearing are a fairly routine repair.--"golden box top Rugulator"-I think I saw another one.Or was it 2 or 3?Or could it have been 4?!?.
"died and gone to heaven"-Just stay alive and come to TN.Is an easy drive down I-81.

Thanks for the great pictures. All wonderful treasures. I especially love the Birtman Electric.
