The Oreck PT57

Hi all I just got a nice oreck PT57 commercial canister that needs a new hose.Can I use regular 1.25 grey shopvac hose mounted to the machine end cuff? I see this stuff in the pool section of my home depot.

I dont see why not I usually do that if one of my machines need a new hose.
