The New CB2000 Flier

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Keith. I've never seen any commercial canister fliers—for the CB or CB2000.

The flier features the original CB2000 in two-toned gray. It must be quite rare as I've never seen one posted online.

The same is true for the two-toned gray Model B-9 "Floor Beautifier", which was Electrolux Corporation's original revised-style triple brush cleaner (the current label is "Lux Floor Pro").

I think both cleaners were launched in 1983—thirty-five years ago. The CB2000 was discontinued in the fall of 1999, several years after the Electrolux Commercial upright was introduced.

I suspect that the CB2000 was designed by and possibly initially manufactured by Electrolux Canada, Inc., because of the '2000' identifier, which correlated with its E-2000 cylinder vacuum cleaner with the PN-2000 power nozzle, the Shampooer-Polishers 2101 & 2101A, and the Trivac 2102 stick cleaner.

If you have the flier for the last edition of the CB2000 please post it, too.

If only...

I think Electrolux would have had one of the best commercial vacuums ever made if they had made a different decision about the filter, which is a sheath instead of a bag. Unless I'm mistaken, Electrolux didn't offer any option to use the CB with a bag, just the bin with filter material, which looks like it could be a bag but actually isn't, covering the motor cage. Did Electrolux make actual bags for the CB/CB2000 that I didn't know about?

*** Great replies guys **** :-) Thanks for the input! Yep this was the first one Ive ever seen and I snapped it up like right away! Im sure that there are other fliers stashed somewhere and hopefully they can be found. I love my CB2000 - Its a powerful machine. Paul I do have the flier for the last CB2000 and I will post it here shortly. I had to take this pic down from one of my facebook groups because some dude decided to forward and post it to his page..I was like uhhh no not so fast buddy!

Ok, Keith, you have me wanting one now! Before, I was only interested in CBs, but the flier's information regarding the upgrades is impressive. I've never seen one in person or on Craigslist but hopefully that will change. About a month ago I got another CB (1205-era) at a ReStore for about $30.00. It had an original hose and cord but unfortunately no pn.

Sweet pic!

Sorry to hear about the photo thief.

Hi Paul ...believe me I know the feeling! I shared with you that my aunt owned a CB and used that instead of using her 1205. I had no interest in a CB whatsoever until my curiosity got the best of me , and I sought and found my CB2000. After using it the 1st time I was hooked! Thanks for the feedback Paul and good luck on your search.

You're welcome, Keith. Thanks for the good wishes. Looking forward to your next vac find post (don't know how you get such great ones)!

Keither's time machine still works!

Keither, What year did your time machine take you to find this one?? OR are you the owner of one fabulous 3D printer?

@ Jasper ! Heyyy! Are you referring to the CB2000 pictured in my den? A former Electrolux salesman sold this to me. The first CB2000 I’ve ever seen , used, or owned! It’s an awesome vacuum! I love it
