I am fairly proficient diagnosing & repairing vac cleaners, but are not familiar with central vacs. I want to test a never installed CentraLux E130G that has no power switch.

Short of opening the top & directly connecting the motor to power, If I short the two terminals below the reset button will it turn on?

I have to sell this & an accessory kit for it. for someone. Everything is new, never installed or used.

Also, any idea of how old this is? It was in my late BIL's basement.

Thanks

Yup

The connectors below the recent button are for the low voltage system which is what allows users to turn the system on and off from a valve or hose. So if you complete the circuit or short them as you put it The machine will turn on whenever it's plugged in.
