I did this test because we vacuum collector people know how fast Shark pre motor filter gets dirty.
Now the question is how fast it's going to lose performance (airflow).
I tested it: First measuring the airflow with clean filter. Then sucking up 4 bin full of dust. Measuring the airflow with the dirty filter.
Result was surprising. Even with the dirty filter it hardly lost any airflow. Yes it didn't go to the 3 so easily after the test, but it did hit the 3.
Looks like the filter area can handle a lot of dust before it will lose cfm.
Obviously it will in some point, but not after this major abuse.
Now obviously Shark has other problems like lack of spare parts and low quality.
That's totally different story.
