Did you have any luck finding the manufacturer. I have one found in an estate clean out.Manufacturer?
Karl, where do you propose I look to see who manufactured it? Other than the Super House Maid badging, there are no other external plates or identification.
There should be some sort of data plate riveted to the vacuum, usually on the bottom, that has the model and serial number, voltage and amps ratings. It might say who manufactured it.Manufacturer?

Please give me the patent number (typically beginning with 'D' for 'Design'), and I'll do a search. In another thread, a poster mentioned "House Maid" as being Spiegel's label and showed a catalog page with a House Maid upright; although Spiegel would most likely not have been the manufacturer.Did you have any luck finding the manufacturer.
