Recently I have been in he market for a new power nozzle for my central vacuum. After shopping around for a while I feel that the Stealth from MD may suit my needs well. Does anyone own one? What are some of the benefits and some of the disadvantages you have experienced with them? Thank you all so much!!!

I had the 14 inch nozzle for several years and got rid of it. It's well made but it does not clean very well, especially for the price. I think an Electrolux power nozzle cleans better than the Lindhaus, as the Lindhaus/Stealth nozzle has only one row of bristles. I replaced mine with a Centec power nozzle, the same one that the TOL Simplicity/Riccar canisters come with and it cleans much better. I'd recommend the Centec or the Wessel-Werk EBK 360, both clean much better than the Lindhaus.

The Stealth in my opinion is the best powerhead that I've ever used. It's high quality, it cleans excellent, and it's very easy to service or repair. We had a Silentmaster with the Stealth kit years ago and I like it much better than our other system. I even have plans to install one in when I get my own house in the future. Since I've read your previous thread, it can work perfect on your types of carpets. What I like about the Stealth better than the Electrolux powerheads is that it has a manual height adjuster which can get deeper and clean better on carpets. The brushroll is designed to not get hair tangled up on the brushroll as much as the other power heads. And since I'm not a fan of power heads with telescoping wands because they feel so cheap, this one I would have no problem using because it feels solid to me. The only downfall I would say with the Stealth is that it does not have a headlight.

great power head

I have the Lindhaus PB14 pro which I think is the same nozzle, MD brands it as the stealth. It's a great power nozzle, very well made and cleans very well. It gives you 10 height adjustments, it has a metal brush roll and is probably one of the best power nozzles available, the others being from Sebo, Tacony, Wessel-werk and Centec. The one thing I would change about it is that the cord on it is a bit too short to reach all of the way up an extended telescopic wand, but this is common with a lot of power nozzles. There are short power nozzle extension cords you can get to solve that.

@n0oxy Thank you for your valuable information!

I had looked at the lit and in all honestly it really doesn’t look that nice. I’m really not super crazy about the blue and white powerhead color combo. And the hose doesn’t have the handle grip I like. I like the white hose and the gas pump style handle better.
