A fellow teacher is retiring. He's doing a blitz through his house. He's using his Dyson on one floor, and a 1980s Hoover on the other.

I'm attacking my house too. Only all the different rooms and different floors are all getting treated by Hoovers.
At least one Connie, 2 Convertibles, a Slimline, possible Handivac, and, the steamvac (made in USA) might come out to play, as well I might even break out a steam mop.I gave one of those to my sister, who uses it on her boat. I gave one , also, to me niece, who has 2 dogs and an 18 month old. I'm sure they get a workout.

I have to finish painting and papering my entrance hall. Then, I might even steam the stairs... never did that before.

Stairs

Isn't each step of your stairs stationed with Hoover's on duty.
I just deep cleaned upstairs with my IEC C9 with an 80s eureka power nozzle. The nozzle goes completely parallel to the floor.
I used a new HEPA bag on the compact. When I was done the bag was 7/8s full. Itve never picked up that much with any vacuum before.

Well, that staircase has been the perfect backdrop for

Hoovers during many mini meets, parties, etc.
On Halloween, during dinner, the doorbell rang. I heard kids say, "Mommy, there are lots of sweepers on those stairs".
At the moment, there are only 4 machines on the top stairs.
I'm glad you brought up the steps. You have a good memory.
Of course, you're read all of the silly veiled "other" comments about that staircase, by people who have never seen it in person, and never will.
When The VCCC has the convention here in Scranton in 2 years, BOTH staircases will display Hoovers.
