Nice, but it should be noted that are NOT Genuine Hoover bags, they are aftermarket bags. Genuine bags are still available, for much less than $10.
 
Well now...

I didn't know that! You can buy NEW bags for a Constellation? Those haven't been made in about 40 years, if I'm not mistaken. I'm guessing these are around $3-$5 then? I'll just throw them upon eBay this weekend then.

Was my guess on the age and value of the Singer within the ballpark? I couldn't any info on that particular model.
 
Twenty dollars is a good price for the Singer. They sold hand vacs in place of attachments for their uprights during the 40's and 50's. Many are out there. Yours is in nice shape.

Here's a picture of a package of genuine Hoover type J bags. The package you have was designed to 'fool' people into thinking the bags were genuine ones. The genuine filtered much better, and the cardboard collar was also thicker on the bags.
