Some of my Non-Kirby's

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

OH I forgot to mention.

Oh I forgot to mention so of these pics are before they arrived to me so some of them had not been cleaned up yet.
They are now all done up but I don't have any pics yet.

I still have other vacuums that I don't have pics yet to.
Once I do I will post them to I hope.

Hoped you liked them.

I see Electrolux and Hoover are runners up to Kirby in your collection. :)

I presume those are all from the Era of Cleaner you grew up with? heh I do that too, anything older than 60s and newer than 80s doesn't interest me whatsoever.

Very nice James :)
Looks like you have some new machines since I last visited!
I have to get me one of those 600 series electrolux uprights,
I miss my old ones :(

Hope you are good mate

Hoover Turbolite

Here's my Hoover Turbolite U4527. Additional information about it is under the video description.

They're nice cleaners, very basic, but quiet and reliable.

Rare-ish in the UK, for a modern machine - they weren't sold for long, and were a little lost among Hoover's already over-crowded floorcare range!

Fantastic collection there James.

Veerrrryyyy envious of the U4362 Turbomaster softbag and U5096 + of course the U5094 in piccy number 1.

Still learning the ropes with the other manuafcturers machines so I will interested to see the answers when the machines are confirmed. Steep learning curve!

Question though re the Turbopower in picture number 9 - is that the U2604 Turbopower Total System Plus with Autoflex from the 1989 series?
Have only ever seen brochure images of this model before and hoover had an annoying habit of only ever showing this machine from the back!

Congratulations on a wonderful collection.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,

I Can't remember off hand but yes I'm sure it is a U2604 Turbopower Total System Plus with Autoflex. I think the U2602 was a greyish slate colour simaliar to the Turbomaster U5094.

Machine is in the loft at the mo so I can't double check it.

I have a Hoover booklet with it in from about 1990/91 with it in as well as the Hoover freedom cleaners in it and the U5096 and U5094 Turbomasters in it.

wow James,

How do you fit them amongst the Kirbys? I'm well impressed at the scope and diversity of your collection.

I love those 61 series Electroluxes, do they use a bigger motor than the 500 series? They seem to be awfully rare now, but they really remind me of what the Hoover DAM/Convertible could have become if Hoover hadn't backed away from CFA.

And that little Turbopower Autoflex is a very pretty little thing too, always great seeing what folks have!
