Interesting pics. The Dream Machine is a shampooer? I seen a random part from one on eBay a lot and I was like "hmm I wonder what that is"

The red one is the one i would like to have since my mom's favorite color is red, I am looking forward to showing my mom how to use on since she's never used a shampooer in her life lol.

I have one of those built in Eureka central vacuums in that picture, just wished that mine had more airflow. Wish you luck on finding a Dream Machine. Keep in mind that if you do find one and are planning on using it daily, be careful because if the machine ever does break on you, it would be extremely hard to find parts for them today.

You only use a carpet shampooer one time a year or two idk.

Usually it depends on the user. Mostly on how often their carpets would either get dirty, have accidents or spills, or if the house would have any water leaks. I've also seen cleaners that can be used for scrubbing bare floors as well. My Bissells the last time that I used them broke on me and one of them I no longer can get parts for. That's one of the reasons why I now have professionals come do ours instead.

I only shampoo twice a year - spring and fall. It is a lot easier on the shampooer if you pre-treat the carpet to be cleaned first with a small pump sprayer for fertilizer (simple green or tide powder mix with water) - leave it set for 10-15 mins and then just use the shampooer with only hot water to rinse and extract the solution. My Bissell shampooer from the early 90s died because of leaving the shampoo solution in the rubber tubing so much to stagnate and it gradually weakened the rubber and made it split. Also just poor maintenance as it was our first shampooer too. I think I can find rubber tubing at the hardware store to replace it (and might even be stronger).
