Well here they are. Buffalo Joe was here this weekend on a Thunderbird run (more on that later). So we did a little thrifting this afternoon and came up with quite a bit. We found the blue U4195 Convertible for $4 at the Hartville Flea Market along with the brown Hoover Advantage upright which was in far better condition. Joe picked up the Simplicity along with the orange full hood Convertible at a local thrift store called Abbey Anns. He got quite a deal when he bought them both. The Menonite Thrift store yielded a 1960's vintage Eureka Princess that actually says "Princess" on it. At $5 it was a bargain! Joe also found a completely original Dustette circa 1959 for a whole whopping $1. The Hartville Flea Market also had a Hoover 150 "Special" that was rebuilt by the company in August 1945. Two items that did not come back with us that were both at the flea market were a mint Sanitaire Commercial Shop Vac and a 1974 overhead belt drive Lawn Boy. We had NO MORE ROOM! I picked up the orange U4095 Convertible that had a broken bag spring and an 1120 DAM at the same Abbey Anns thrift store that Joe found his machines. We picked up the fan along the way. Who could resist an actual American made item that is still very useful. Not pictured is a shark hand vac...yeah. It was a great day with good weather. It was nice to clean up with all of these great machines. Tomorrow we are off to collect Joe's Thunderbird so that he can return to Buffalo and cruise. Hey Joe...how about some photos of that new 'bird???
