Small turbo head from the Chapman boutique

I bought two turbo nozzles at the Chapman boutique (the small one was bought at the end of November or the beginning of December). In this thread, I'll talk about the smaller one.

At my apartment, it's up to all of the tenants to keep the stairwells clean. The stairs are carpeted and I'm fascinated in vacuum cleaners so it makes sense that I would get a turbo nozzle for my Dirt Devil canister.

I went to the Chapman boutique and the shop owner told me that it was made in Quebec and not in Germany nor China. The tool was made by Johnny Vac. I decided to get this one and used it to clean the carpeted stairs. It works fine and did pick up the visible debris.

Here are the nozzle's brushroll and it's interiors. Be sure to clean the inside after each use.

Now here's something I find interesting about this brush. It's done in a way that the same parts of the nozzle could stay in contact with the surface no matter at what angle am I holding the handle. People should be designing upholstery nozzles with such feature.

In conclusion, I love this turbo brush and I hope I could keep it for many years to come. Do you think I should have chosen one of those TTI turbo heads like the ones from Walmart instead?

Mine looks to be

identical, and says 'made in Germany' on it.

They're made by Wessel Werk of Germany - both sold with Miele and SEBO vacuums. Both have pivots built in on the sole plate. Other European brands use them too such as Made in Germany/Europe vacuums such as Morphy Richards bagged Vario cylinder vacs - and of course a few others.

Turbo head

The Shark lift away also has a turbo head of that design...with the addition of felt litter pickers lining the Bottom of the plate. I very much agree that the pivots boost that nozzle's performance tremendously.
