I stopped into the local vacuum store this afternoon to see if the owner had a part I needed. He didn't, but he will have one in sometime next week. We ended up chatting for awhile, and he drug out a near complete Rexair Model B with an original hose and tools! He was going to sell it on eBay for $50, but it didn't sell, so now he has it in the back of the store. I was considering asking him about buying it the next time I stopped into the store for perhaps a lower price. The vacuum itself was immaculate, it ran smooth and quiet and there was no rust to be found. I never knew how tiny the B was! It's a cute little machine. The hose is original, but it's a little stiff. I think it'd still be usable. Should I ask about it when I head back for my part?

Absolutely!

You sound interested enough and the condition sounds great. I say go right ahead!!!

I can't help you with the price as I have no idea what the Model B looks like or how rare it is. But it sounds great and the condition sounds super. Do what your heart tells you and what your budget can tolerate!
