Should I buy a DC40?

Why would Dyson make a new model that doesn't clean better than the older model? Because they're DYSON! It's what they do!

You can always (or should be able to, check first!) Return the DC40 if it displeases you (and being a Dyson, it likely will!

). Of course,I always recommend anything other than Dyson, but you're not me! I'm happier with my HOOVER, as the saying goes!

Alex

I would normally try to avoid Dyson, however, i'm feeling in a mood which wants me to give them a second chance. The idea of using a modern vacuum daily is so that the older vacuums - such as the old HOOVER'S which are great!!! - don't get overused and also some of the older machines have obsolete parts on them, so i'm being very careful when using them.

Agreed with Dysondestijl

And the DC25 has TWO rows of stiff bristles, DC40 has 1 row of stiff bristles
