I always wanted one of these, I remember they used to be sold in SA through magazines as a All round versatile vacuum. They back in 1985 cost R 179.00 or $ 17.90 I loved them and have been after one for a long time

God, is that a pleated filter? Reminds me of the time someone brought in a small bagless canister and reported the same problem.


That machine vaguely reminds me of the Bissell carpet machines we got over here in the 80's.


I know you will enjoy that machine, considering your "thing" for shop vacs (:

I always screw the part needing work to the workbench as this stops it spinning around when I start removing paint, I use the larger grinders as they spin slower than the smaller ones so you can't distort the metal.

When replacing vacuum bearings like these its important to get the right type, The 3c is really important. It means they have extra clearance in them for high speed and heat generated by the high speed.
