The model E.

There were 2 versions of the model E. The first was a basic tank in wheels, and was introduced around 1954. The second was the E automatic with a modified full bag system, gone was the ejector of the LX and LXI. Both were hammertone blue, and were the first Electrolux models with an attached cord.

What I think you have is the model L as it came in the colors you discribe. If you could post a few pictures it would help to identify this Electrolux.
