Servicing a Miele 236 Power Nozzle

So I was always led to believe that servicing the Miele 236 PN was a nightmare to do.

Well this video shows that it isn't that difficult after all. Not as easy as some but certainly not a nightmare

Agree about the SEB 236

It's a PITA to work on but definitely not rocket science. I think anyone that is used to working on their own vacuums can do it. I cleaned mine out and oiled the brushroller a couple of nights ago before I saw the video. I got through it in less than an hour without ever working on one before. The cleaning took the most time.

I think that myth that the 236 is so difficult to work on is perpetuated by a lot of vac shops that want to work on simple jobs, the ones that take less time to service so they can do as many jobs as possible, and thus make more money. Nothing wrong with them making money but don't scare the customers away from a good PN because you don't want to work on it.
