Open the bag door and slightly slide the bag collar out of the holder (a magnet on a pivot might move a little next to the indentation cut-out on the cardboard collar). Close the bag door, and switch on. The voice should speak "Bag is not correctly fitted".

I've just given that a try, and although the error number is flashing on the control panel, it's still not saying anything :S

Maybe the voice processing section/pcb is faulty?

...here's the video of your Sensotronic from our August Hooverland Meet at Al's. Sorry it took so long to do, I'd edit the clips together, hit 'publish movie', and the program would crash. After a number of attempts, I was seething with the kind of vitriolic rage that makes you want to go out and punch kittens, but it's worked now, and peace, harmony and inner tranquility have been restored!

Aaaaanyway, here it is. I did some of the camera-work, Mike filmed while I was using the Senso. The test-dirt came courtesy of Simon's Turbopower Freedom, and Alistair's hole-punch. Background vocals by Seamus and Stephen.

Great filming Jack, wow...had forgotten how powerful that head is!!! much better than the later models...I think we`ll take this next year for the monster cleaning competition, it`ll suck the wind right out of Chicago thats for sure...

We wer`nt sure whether the fine white powder on the brushroll was from the carpet or it was pulling the white tiling grout through the rug!!!....LOL

Pete - nothing really 'fixed' it exactly, I just tried the same thing I did the other day, and this time it worked! The electronics on this example seem pretty unreliable.

Fred - it said 'Bag is not correctly fitted' in Italian. I did French and German at school, so I'm not sure of the exact wording. Fun, though!
