Well guys, it hurts me to have to do this but some of my Sebo collection is up for grabs. Basically the bills for restoring my Audi Quattro are starting to roll in and I need the money. And to be quite honest I need the space back too, i've got far too many vacs. Really want them to go to good homes. A lot of money has gone into the Stealth 1 especially!

The Ensign Stealth 1 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120972320...LX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649#ht_500wt_1219

And the Vintage Sebo 350 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120972334...LX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649#ht_500wt_1219

Heres some Youtube videos of them in action

You'd have a buyer for both if I had more than two pennies to rub together.

I hope they go to good homes! Never know, maybe even VL members.

Ryan:

So sad to hear you have to sell of some of your Sebo's to pay for bills on your car! I know how it feels though, sometimes, & how you wish you didn't have to give up a vacuum just to pay some bills. If I was in the UK or Scotland, & there wasn't the expense involved of shipping across the continent to North America, & it used 120 Volt instead of 220 Volt like Europe does, I would be bidding on one of those Sebo's in a heartbeat! Tried out a Sebo Automatic X5 back in November when visiting Greg Paul (fellow Canadian collector) & the Sebo's are perhaps the best made upright money can buy.

Best of luck, & hopefully you get what they are actually worth....Rob

cheers mate :) I am sad to see them go but the Audi that I've got being restored is pretty special. Theres only 9 left on UK roads and therefore are extremely rare. I'm so lucky to own one but its been off the road for 12 years and needs quite a bit of work

Here she is on the back of the trailer on her way to the Audi specialist

That Stealth model is beautiful, I'd never seen one like that... I also really liked the video you made showing your dirt meter.... where in the world did you find a Sebo dirt meter?

I hope my eyes are deceiving me and you're not towing a fine piece of automotive machinery with a... A... VAUXHALL!?

"It's still a current model that retails at £334-395"

Oh, Ryan, you crafty sod! Although the Ensign Stealth does still retail at that, we all know that the Sebo x1.1 and x4 are considerably cheaper ;)

exactly ;) and yes Jamie, you're eyes do deceive you, its being towed by a Toyota Landcruiser lol. I shall have you know that me and the bf are big Vauxhall fans! our next car is going to be a Mk1 Cavalier when the Audi is finished.

The dirt meter is an odd one, it was on ebay. i have no idea where it came from but must have been some kind of demonstration tool?

Heres another pic of the old girl arriving at the garage, The bills have started rolling in already, £1000 in the space of 2 days! lol

I had a brand new Toyota Aygo, it was bloody awful lol replaced it with a new Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S which was fine but nowt special. Had a Mondeo 2.5 V6 Ghia, that wasn't a bad car.

Yes Ryan I just saw your Stealth on EBay last night. I was surprised you were selling it but can understand fully as to why you need to sell it. Its a rare model . I just sold my X4 and X1.1 too, but not on EBay, just to private local hotel and B&B owners. The X1 A/Stealth is a bit quieter than the more current Sebos though.

Have you driven/test driven the Vauxhall Antara? I wasn't impressed with it much but I do like the general design.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice one hobby for another, as much as I love my vacs, I love my cars more lol I can always buy a new Stealth 1 if i really do miss it.

Hmm Antara, haven't driven one yet, I nearly ended up buying an Insignia though. But to be totally honest, modern cars really don't do it for me. I have had a few cars from new and I do very quickly get bored of them. Theres no character to them, the Fiesta Zetec S i had feels exactly the same as my partners new Alfa Romeo MiTo. Boring and plasticky.

The reason i've stuck with my Rover 800 for so long is because its a bit quirky, it's very british with all that wood and leather, I love the attention I get in it too. I really can't wait to get the Audi back on the road, its just that little bit more quicker than the Rover.

The Rover will be my town car and long distance cruiser because its an auto and better for it, and the Audi can be my sporty play thing for when I feel like making 'good progress' as we call it in the job lol

think its one of the those phrases used by every copper in the country. It sounds much more professional than 'time to get a bloody move on'. 'Don't spare the horses' is another one of my favourites

It's an old one that dates back to the times when police used horse drawn vans or 'Black Maria's' 'Don't spare the horses' as in get whipping! lol but I suppose its still relevant today with cars (Brake horse power) etc

I just checked your completed listings and I can tell you I'd be absolutely gutted selling that Sebo for £13 (and I'm not a Sebo fan), so I can only imagine how you must be feeling.

It seems you'll get a good amount for the other one though.
