Exactly. The TK286 is the only nozzle from them I would even look at.
I can't use those. I buy the narrow parquet floor brushes because I can sneak them sideways to clean between the desk and wall or into similar narrow gaps.Exactly. The TK286 is the only nozzle from them I would even look at.
Might as well buy an X4 base plate, drill some holes in it and be prepared to swap base plates if you need to bring it in for service. You would probably have voided the warranty bringing it in with an X7 base plate.Well the particular person (not on VL) that said the X7 and X4 base plates are interchangeable was incorrect. The X7 base plate has a completely different fitting. I suppose if I’m desperate, I will have to drill holes but that would void my warranty. I suppose I could buy another x4 base plate and drill the holes, but put the original plate on if I need warranty work. You would think Sebo would make a plate with holes for the X4.
I believe that’s my plan! The X7 plate would definitely have voided the warenty, so I would have swapped it as well. Of course I really don’t expect to have to take my machine in, maybe I’ll have it serviced at around 5 years.Might as well buy an X4 base plate, drill some holes in it and be prepared to swap base plates if you need to bring it in for service. If you have the Sebo ten year warranty you want to make full use of it.If you can service it yourself, do it yourself. Vac shops generally (but not always) are a bit skimpy with what they do. If you do it yourself you know what you are getting.
