I would take the Riccar(uprights) and Sebo(uprights) over the Rainbow for deep cleaning anytime.I HATE the powernozzle provided with Rainbow(E,E2) machines-it chokes off the canisters airflow!Use another powernozzle on the rainbow and you will turn the water to MUD quicker!

I had a Sebo at work, it only cleaned good with new bag and new brushes, then it was great. I loved the power height adjust and the quiet.

Power head to use with a rainbow
in my tests, granted i do not have the ability to buy powerheads at whym to test this but out of the ones i do have, ive found that my rainbow e series works best (and this is just out of my pn's) with the sebo. it seems that the slower rotating brush is perfect for the rainbow.
