Well Gang, SEBO have FINALLY introduced their own stick vacuum! And this one looks promising.

Yes, it is a Dyson style machine, and it does look like SEBO have partnered with an Asian manufacturer for this product. But, this gets A LOT of things right - like the removable battery - and this totally blows away the latest Miele Triflex and Miele Duoflex! This will give SEBO time to develop something really good, while competing against Miele and Dyson. In a land of cheap, disposable stick vacuums, this will make the industry more accountable for the crap they produce.

Interesting…

Well we know the filtration will be ironclad because it’s a Sebo. I like that the dust chamber is long enough to reach lower into the trash can when emptying. The worst part of any cordless is the cloud of dust during emptying. This is going to make Riccar’s R65 look quite inferior.

Well that's nice. I may see about getting a quick pickup vac.

Although why are we still harping on filtration when they move so little air that's filtration is almost useless.

"A bagless Sebo?... They made a *bagless*... Sebo?"

"They had the NERVES, TO HAVE ONE OF THE GREATEST VACUUM MANUFACTURES OF ALL TIME, MAKE A BAGLESS, SEBO!??!!?!?!"

"NOPE!!! NO!!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!! DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!! DOES NOT HERJIOGHTITJIOIRRFFEW!!!"

Hmm...

It definitely doesn't *seem* to be up to their usual standards. That said I think I like it's concept better than like Miele's bagless offerings it at least has a proper cyclonic system, a removable battery and brushroll. I can certainly understand why they'd want to get into such a large market though and they could have done much worse.

Seems like almost everyone is now going for a bagless cordless stick vac these days if they still want to be competitive on the market. But I'm going to pass. I rarely use mine at home so once it dies, I don't want to get another one even if it's a Dyson. Same goes for the cordless hand vacs I have as well, I don't really use them either. Cordless vacuums just isn't for me even though I use one at work. However if I wanted to have a bagless SEBO, I'd rather get a SEBO powerhead connected with a cyclonic central vac like Vacuflo. And if I really wanted to have a cordless SEBO, I'd rather get the BP60. The only reason why I use a cordless at work which is a Dyson is because I don't like using the corded vacuum the office has which is a Shark. Loud, smells awful, awkward to use, etc. If the office had gotten a corded SEBO, I'd glady use that over the Dyson.

ManchesterVacs - Nice video review. But personally, I would choose a Dyson V8 variant with a HEPA Filter instead, since it definitely seems to clean a little better than the Sebo. But, this is their first attempt making their own stick vacuum - I am sure the next one will be much improved!
