Just found this really cool promotional video for a very cool-looking European vac. See the link below.

Any of our friends in Europe know anything about Sauber? Never heard of the company before....

It looks a lot like the European Electroluxes! I think it's great! It not only looks good, but has a woven hose, a non loop style handle with controls (hard to find now days), and all the controls seem to be on the handle, not just bare floor only or power.... plus a parking station, a blower port, and motor speed control, either automatic or manual.... and the digital display.... the only thing that would make it better would be if it had an electric power nozzle.... I don't know why other countries get all the cool stuff!

NEW LUX

Hello guys,
I'd like to confirm that it is the Lux Innovation, the last model of european Lux.
It is a marvellous cleaner, very quiet, extremely powerful, with an excellent filtration system. Sadly the disposable bags are VERY small. The electrified hose with controls on the handle grip is standard,as well as the electrified telescopic wand; available are the electric power nozzle ( it's a Wessel-Werk redesigned) and the small power nozzle for upholstery; Available also as an optional the Turbo clean, a very powerful orbital air operated tool to use as a surface cleaner, scrubber, dry carpet cleaning etc. and as a massager.
Really wonderful...for something around € 2.000,00
I hope this helps!

"air operated tool to use as a surface cleaner, scrubber

I've got one of them, except it's called a "Kirby Turbo Sander", Great as a sander, scrubber & buffer, but I've yet to see and hear a turbo tool quiet enough to be a relaxing massager... :P

Thanks everyone! Keetos (Finnish?) and Grazie (Italian?)....

Would love to find out the corporate connection between Lux International of Switzerland and the Sauber name. It seems that the Sauber name is related to the European country of Luxembourg, so maybe Lux needed to rebrand the Lux vacs as "Sauber" for that country......hmmmmm.....inquiring minds would like to know.

Just as a reminder, Lux International is an offshoot of Sweden's Electrolux. It originally began as Electrolux's door-to-door sales division in Europe but is now a separate entity with corporate affiliations around the world, including North America's Aerus. See link below:

Very nice!

Hi, Seem to be a nice looking vacuum cleaner...
Wonder why there not sold in the UK as far as I'm aware. But there sold Everywhere else in Europe.

This is such a beautiful vacuum cleaner. Since Lux International has some corporate partnership with North America's Aerus, wouldn't it be great if we all could get Aerus to sell 110-volt versions of this "Intelligence" vac?

How about a petition guys? Let's send a bunch of letters to headquarters in Texas:
Aerus LLCv
5420 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1010
75240 Dallas, Texas

:-)

Yes,
it would be nice also to have a 220 volts version of the Aerus over here! The only american Electrolux we had for a while was branded "Globaltek" but it didn't have much luck!

This is the previous model , The lux 1

This is my one however I think the aerus machines are better, the lux is features over function , it has everything but its not easy to use as its hose is two stiff, to large and to short. the new one i an improvement as it features controls on the hose end

What a great looking machine

Aerus should take a look at this vacuum and learn something. Aerus needs to go back to the drawing board and rework thier entire line of vacuums. The Aerus engineers should build vacuums like this and the Miele.

just to clarify...

The Sauber Intelligence is the name for the Lux Intelligence in Australia as it is being sold by Godfreys stores. The vacuum has been bought in to repair the name of the company due to selling really poor quality vacs to people.

if you visit the below website you will see that at the bottom the page belongs to ICSH pty ltd which is the company that owns Godfreys, Hoover, Wertheim and Vacspare in Aus.
