Hi all, trying to buy parts for my blue moon and it seems like the floor brush for the c3 fit the wand of the s658 but do not seem to fit in the parking slot on the back of the s658. We're their different notch sizes on floor brushs? Also were there different tool sizes? The tools from the c3 seem ever so slightly different from the blue moon and I need to locate a crevice tool as well.

Thanks I'm advance!

Yes, Miele has had 3 different park bracket and park bracket holder designs on their canisters. Starting with the S300/S400 series. The parking bracket design on the S500/S600 series, like your Blue Moon, it is a split design. This one is easy to find the regular floor brush, or what Miele refers to as the Smooth Floor Brush, on Ebay. However, you cannot buy one new, as Miele discontinued that brush in favor of the newest Parquet Twister brush that comes in 2 sizes.

What I would suggest doing is buy a couple on Ebay. That way you have one to use, and a second for parts. You could also try calling around to Miele dealers to see if they have new old stock of the Smooth Floor Brush, but bear in mind it will have the same park bracket as your S8 floor brush has. Also, Miele attachments are made by Wessel Werk, and they still make a standard floor brush that's like the Smooth Floor Brush, but without the unique Miele styling or logo, so it is possible if you bought a Wessel Werk floor brush that's the same width, you could use the bristle strips as replacements for your Miele floor brush.

As for the onboard tools, Miele has had 3 different upholstery tool and dusting brush designs. The tools from your S8 should fit right in the Blue Moon's tool compartment. If you want, there are also generic aftermarket replacements of the earlier designs, but they don't work as well as the genuine tools they copied.

What I would do if you want tools that work well and you don't care that they fit into the tool compartment, buy a couple generic Miele 35mm tool adapters and use your favorite tools from old vacuums you saved tools from, or buy generic tools you like. There is actually a Rainbow dusting brush with a Miele adapter attached sold as a generic Miele dusting brush that is actually nicer than Miele's dusting brushes, and there is also a longer 35mm crevice tool on Aliexpress that should fit your tool compartment.
