Sorry for bringing this back on topic...
Over here Russell Hobbs are rebadged cheap plasticky machines. Would cost twice as much to post as to buy it, and having had a few Vax machines which are fairly similar tech and design wise. Just don't, I wouldn't wish it upon you!

Russell Hobbs are nasty machines with whiny motors, they cost around £40-£50 usually but I have seen some sell for near the £90 region & that is expensive for what it is.

Quite a lot of cheapo vacs are like this, but as the old saying goes 'You get what you pay for'.

I wouldn't get one, & it wouldn't be worth the postage, either.
