Royal prince bearings

Hello!
I have 2 royal princes. Both of which have worn out bearings. I’d like to have at least one that still works well. But I don’t know how to install new bearings on these. I don’t know what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These had bushings until the last few years of manufacture. Are there oiler screws on it? Notably there would be a slanted one on the handle mount.

Yes there are oil screws in it. I oiled both with some light gun oil.

Before you replace anything, take it apart, clean it, and apply oil directly to the bushings. The belt shaft spindle unscrews from the fan, I don’t remember if clockwise or counter clockwise. Then fan should remove and you can access the motor screws to open it.

If it still doesn’t run well I miiiiight have have a spare motor.

I would try oiling it. That is the first check in any case.

The issue is there lots of play on the motor, the shaft slides back and forth. I can’t find a motor for sale and I don’t know how to replace the bearings.
