Riccar 8905

I got this wonderful Riccar 8905 at one of the local Vac Shops for $60 yesterday. It needed a pretty good cleaning but it turned out great! It came with all of the attachments as well as a package of bags. It was purchased new in 2005, so it is less than 7 years old. I will probably be using this quite a bit!

Was riccar originally a Japanese company? They look so similar to early 80"s National Panasonic vacuums
