This is my 3rd Rainbow I’ve earned

This will be the 3rd Rainbow I have earned through the Rainbow equity program. It’s a win, win. You get good leads you will make sells because it’s a great product, plus you can earn some good money. I’ve never paid full price for a Rainbow to this day.

Yeah but my thing is, I need a paycheck rather than a 3k water vac. Don't get me wrong I would never turn down a free rainbow, but a paycheck is more important, especially with how exspensive life is. Now do the programs allow you to keep working with the company once you get a free rainbow? And if so can this be like the typical job that you go to work everyday, pay the bills and even get health insurance and a 401k plan?

It’s like working for yourself

I manage to work a full-time job, care for my grandfather, and still run demos each week all while earning an extra 25-30k per year part time. Trust me I know, I need a steady paycheck as most people do having a morgage, car payment, etc. Most distributors if not all pay you non taxed and you file a 1099 form on your taxes at the end of the year which is basically like if you worked for yourself. I have done Rainbow part time on and off for about 11 years. When you do the equity program you still make commission off your sales, earn extra incentives, etc. Many of the people that work at our office are married couples who originally got into Rainbow just to earn the Rainbow for free but kept doing it to earn extra money. The opportunity is there, it just may not be for everyone.

Rainbow is a lot like Cutco in that it uses a lot of people to take advantage of their friends and family. I said "earn" a Rainbow not a "free Rainbow", because my understanding is that the terms are not easy and many people fail. You must do a strictly counted number of demos to "qualified" buyers within a short time period. There may even be a requirement that a certain number must purchase a Rainbow. I don't think they would be happy if you did say 10 demos and no one purchased one. There is a handy link on the Rainbow web site which links to "opportunities". I would assume there are no benefits other than commissions. Have no idea if you generate your own leads or whether they are provided.

Given that you believe in the Rainbow, you would likely be a good salesperson. If you don't believe that Rainbows are the only vacuums that work, and that they are truly special, you will not succeed. They have developed an effective sales pitch. My favorite is the picture of the giant blood thirsty dust mites.

I would fail miserably because I don't believe in the Rainbow.

Agreed. The rainbow is a very nice vacuum and of good quality. But so is my Miele Marin that I got for less than 1/3 the price of a rainbow. Sure my Miele can't shampoo carpets but $3000 pays for a lot of professional carpet cleanings. And when it comes down to it, my house probably wouldn't be as clean if I had a rainbow. Because I wouldn't want to vacuum as often as I do now. Filling, emptying, and cleaning the thing would be a chore for me. I might pick one up second hand some day to use as an air purifier. That wouldn't require too much upkeep.

They are certainly not for everyone.

I guess I’m used to them because it’s all my family had as a child. I use my Rainbow several times per week and it doesn’t bother me to empty it. I was taught at a young age how to care for it cause my grandma sold them and put us to work cleaning from time to time. I also used to ride with my grandma on demos. To each their own. I still use lots of different vacuums including a Miele Aquarius. I use a Dyson V7 and Roomba for Daily cleaning.

I hear it all the time

"OMG you have to do all that just to vacuum just go get you a regular vacuum. NO WAY. For me a rainbow is as about as maintenance free as it gets. Dump the water no dust in your face and no smell. Clean the separator every three days and it takes what a whole 60 seconds to do that and no storing dirt in the closet. Since I vacuum everyday I guess I'm so used to it that I don't give it a second thought

CHECK YOUTUBE

Type in rainbow srx on youtube. I think all the videos for the SRX are on there

Of course you do. Rainbow has exceptional marketing. Buy it or the giant dust mites will eat you alive. Run it 24 hours a day or your glass of water will be mud. It will pay for itself because you won’t have to buy bags or filters. It’s the only vacuum that works.

My question is now that they’ve uploaded these videos to YouTube, when will they update the rainbow website? Also where are the videos on the optional attachments?
