I understand that something is worth what someone is willing to pay, however this vacuum is so rare that I can't find an example that has sold to base a price from.. this vacuum is so rare that I can't even find an image of another one like it on the internet using Google Lens.

Any idea of a ballpark that I should be asking? Thinking of putting it up on the bay, though if someone here is interested I'd be happy to post it up on the Vacuumland Market.

If you’re here asking for opinions on the selling price…..

I’m sure you’ll get low ball answers, especially from anyone here who would want to acquire the machine. What you need to do is decide if it’s more important for you to make a profit than to simply just sell it. If you’d like make a profit try eBay or something online.

Just my opinion.

Just curious - do you have the rest of the parts? It should have a second set of wands and the Rug/floor nozzle or just the plain floor brush with it

Here is a picture of mine and what comes with it. They had the second set of wands and either the combination rug and floor nozzle or the plain floor brush with the machine so it could be used on bare floors as well as the power head for carpets.

Ah, well I don't have the short straight chromed section and the larger bare floor attachment that you have as displayed in your picture. Are you sure that those attachments were included in my version (Duo-Vac model instead of your Brush N Beat model)? I know that despite having the same external appearance that the different models released over the years had different motor sizes, not sure if the attachments included were always the same across versions.

Yep they had it. Mine had the round brush too but its missing - sigh. Did some digging and, from what I can find, it appears yours was the delux version so it had the power hose instead of the cord on the hose and came with an actual floor brush instead of the dual nozzle (picture below)

Such a cool vacuum! First time I ever see the brandname repeated upside down on the hood so that you can read “Regina” while it rolls on it’s belly as well as when it is sitting on end for stair cleaning and storage. This must be the only canister cleaner in history that had a graphic like that!

Wonder when this power team model came out. Looks like it may have been created to compete with Hoover and Eureka in the mid 1970’s.

I remember them when they were new. Lots of problems. I'm shocked one survived, but it probably wasn't used.

I just (within the last two weeks) threw away six packages of genuine bags for that machine. I didn't think any of them were still here.

I traded one in on a Rainbow D3 in the early 1980's when the Regina was still young. The power head pushed hard, and was too tall to fit under anything. The neck on the rug/floor tool was already broken when I got it as a trade-in. It did belch dust, but the bags were so thin. Easy to trade for a Rainbow. I'll bet most of the motor bearings shot craps after a short period of time, due to all the dust in the motor.

Interesting machine. What's even more interesting is that Air-Way manufactured it as an "Air-Way" for a period of years in the 1990's.

There is no fan in the power head, I checked by turning on the head with the hose unplugged, no air was pushing through the hose.

Dysonman, your post reads as an ad for Rainbow :-) There's plenty of canisters based on this same unit, sold under a number of manufacturers, though none have a power head other than this model and a canister version of the brush n beat that another user posts above.

It’s Worth What Someone Wants To Pay

It seems strange they offset the hose to one side on the canister. It seems like it wouldn’t pull straight behind the power nozzle because of that. If I were you I would list it on eBay and start it out at you ideal price. If it doesn’t sell then gradually drop the price assuming you don’t have to sell it right away. You can always start high and lower your price, you can’t go the other way around. I’ve sold a few vacuums on eBay for way more than I would have expected including a NOS Royal tank for $900, a near new Electrolux Silverado for $8-900, and an Electrolux Olympia One I found at the curb for $250.
