What about Compact's "Always Beauty Clean" PN?

Most of the PNs here on this post are rare; especially the Kenmore Power Mate that converts to a stick vac.

Pn's UK

i never understand why its so hard to find a vacuum with a PN here, I have 2 Miele's with PN's but they no longer sell them over here, have both Zebo and Dyson also stopped in the UK ?

I think its a case of chicken and egg - manufacturers dont fit them much here so people dont know about them to buy then, and as people are not aware of them to buy as they are not sufficiently promoted manufacturers dont sell them.

Stupid, I know! Hoover were selling cleaners with PNs from the end of the 1970s and through the 1980s, and across quite a large part of its range - Freedoms, Sensotronics and Compacts - and they were very good. Perhaps if Electrolux had fitted them too, and they existed on similar electrolux models in other countries, it might have been different. At the time Miele would have been too small a player in the UK at the time to have much effect and even then they only supplied PNs on their TOL models.

As far as I am aware Dyson have only fitted PNs in the UK to their DC35 & DC44 models although again they are supplied in cannisters in other countries.

That Rare Hoover power nozzle

I wish I could find that Hoover power nozzle. I have the Hoover Celebrity that goes to that kind of nozzle. Or even just a regular Quadraflex power nozzle for my celebrity. If any body has one for sale Please let me know. I don't care what the cost just so I can have one with the light...Dan

Are these rare? We really never see them come in at the shop. I took one and cleaned it up to go with my NuTone 353, and my NuTone CV450 that is now our main central vac. The 353 is my benchvac. They are simply a eureka power nozzle with the NuTone label on it, same as the fairfax nozzles, but again I rarely see these in the area. Does anyone else have one as well? Im looking for a brown NuTone attachment carrying case if anyone has one for sale. I have the attachments, Im just looking for the case, and possibly the straight suction eureka/nutone floor tool as well that goes on the end of the metal curved neck. Mine has cracked.

Daniel :-)

Love the "Made in Canada" sticker on the Eureka/NuTone/Beam Roto-Matic power nozzle!

Most likely made at Eureka's Onward Manufacturing plant in Kitchener, Ontario. :-)

Rainbow R-1024B

Rainbow R-1024 type B, issued 1976. Is the last version of the R-1024 to carry the "Rexair" script, as while the type series continued into 1977, the label gets a new "Rainbow" script.

Type A, issued 1974-1975, was similar but the A version used a 2-wire cordset and all R-1024s type B and onward used 3-wire cordsets until being replaced by the in-house design, model R-1650, in October 1980.

Rainbow R-1024E

Rainbow R-1024 type E, issued 1978, seen with the model D2 of the period. Is the last copper-colored variation as for 1979 the nozzle along with the cleaner unit itself, then still model D2, would trade the copper for chocolate brown.

Whatever happened to types C and D? Picture by Fred S.

Rainbow R-1024F

Issued in 1979. Pictured here with the D2 of the period, now dressed in chocolate brown instead of copper. Also of note is that the off-white bumper is now chocolate brown. Cord set is still off-white (that will change with type G).
