I picked this up at my local Goodwill. I know almost nothing about it, other than, according for a few other collectors, that its anywhere from pretty rare to very rare. Its a, I would guess, 1970's model from Regina. I have not had time to clean it up, I will before I sell it, or to even power it on and make sure it works, again I will before I sell it. I will post more pics once I get it cleaned up, but does anyone have any info they can give me on it, or is anyone on here interested in it? It does have a few condition issues, but for the most part, its in pretty good condition, and, as far as I can tell so far, there is no damage that would affect its operation.

Mid to late

70s, I would be interested as I have some NOS bags, these were very powerful, using the TOL Lamb motor of the time, the same motor used in Compacts and Filter Queens.

My mom had the same model although the hose was cloth not vinyl. When she was shopping for a new vac (she had a Filter Queen from the early 50s), she tried both the Hoover suitcase model and this Regina vac. She decided on the Regina but quickly regretted her decision. The vacuum was loud, the cord kept retracting on its own, the wands would either fall apart while in use or would be impossible to separate, and the floor nozzle cracked where the wand attaches. My mom grew quickly tired of it and purchased another FQ with power nozzle in 1972. She then took the Regina to use at the cottage where it still resides. Now I think it is used to vacuum the cars and that's about it.
