Rare De'Corvac and Mr Vac Ambassador & Diplomat Literature

Been awhile since I posted. Here's some pictures of some rare vacuum sales literature I found in my dads archives. I've never seen the De'Corvac Vacuum in the shape of a Hassock. Pictures of the vacuum, tool storage and wheels, all part of a comfortable Hassock! Also find pictures of some brochures for Mr Vac's various upright models, the Diplomat and the Ambassador. Very cool, I've never seen these in person in all his years repairing vacuums.

I have a rather well used example of a commercial Mr. Vac. That I bought at an estate sale closing of a former bookstore a couple years ago. I also have some documentation if I can find it. Yes, I do believe these were made by Singer.

Kloveland, if your nice Mr Vac Commercial Upright, is a model MVU3, heres some scans of a brochure of that model showing the features of that machine!

do you per chance have the back pages of the mr vac dilpomat and ambassoador models? also would you per chance happen to have the spec sheets for mr viceroy? i have a feeling it was a model from this company.

were mr vac lines sold in vac shops, department stores? not at all a common private label.

I like their advertising. Yes, I do believe mine is the MVU3. It looks very similar. The ID tag must have rubbed or fallen off because I can’t find it. I just greased both bearings in it and it sounds great! It’s solidly built and heavy which is a good thing! I find the heavier vacuums do a better job on wall-to-wall carpet.
