Hey y'all, I was gifted a 4 quart basin for my 2 E Series machines, and I can't decide which one to keep it on. I can swap it out as needed, but which model goes through water faster? The E Gold One speed or the E2 Silver? I'd like a bit more leeway with whichever one evaporates the water off quicker. Any advice? Thank you!

I can't give advice but I'll comment.

I don't have the large basin just the basin my gold 2 speed came with. I always fill it with water about 1/2 inch ABOVE the dome and put a few drops of essential oil and I feel like I can clean for over an hour..when done and take off to clean machine and put away...there's water still above the dome...at at the very least just barely still covering it... and my house isn't filthy because I'm always cleaning so I can dust entire rooms and vacuum the carpets so I'm not getting thick water a bunch of dirt.... just dusty, dead skin, things like that.

I honestly don't know if the larger basin would make any difference other than having to change the water less often... It looks to me like it would be more of a pain to clean that big thing after each use...Personally, I think it would be easier to just deal with the normal sized basin unless you're doing a big job or something.

I meant it as

How quickly does the water evaporate during regular use between the 2 models. It's very dry here so anything with moving water dries out fairly quick, be it our fish tanks or the Rainbow 😂
I will hang into the 4 quart for heavy cleans, and use the 2.5s for regular use.
It seems like the E series machines evaporate off more water during use than my D3C or the D4 SE, probably due to higher airflow and more agitation of the water/more water being atomized by the separator. I've gotten into the habit of filling all of them just a smidge over the dome and post with no ill effects. Our apartment is never super dirty but after a thorough cleaning the water gets pretty dirty in all of them. I've never had the water stop moving during use here, and I can tell when they're ready for a dump based on sound changes most of the time. It's a visual thing too when you watch them run 😂

Idk, was just something I was noticing between the Es and the older models. The fans won't ever get as dirty as they were when I got them, and I know to actually change the water after every use! Lmao
