Rainbow E or E2?

I can't tell, could someone help me identify it? What should i look out for when purchasing a Rainbow? This one shown in the pic is being sold for $50 firm. It has an issue with the power head not picking up but rather pooling debris underneath the unit. Sounds like a blocked hose to me.
