Hi there, I'm trying to find a childhood vacuum from the early 1990s era.

I know it's a Eureka Bravo (not Bravo II), but my research online shows that there were several different models.

I found a 6.5 amp, a 7.2 amp, a 9 amp, and a 10 amp.

And then there are the model numbers; I found old newspaper ads for model 9001, model 9002, model 9206, model 9334, etc.

There are probably several others I missed.

The one I'm looking for was:
* Bagged
* Black case with a black or dark grey bag
* Had the slider for height adjustment, not a round knob
* Said "Bravo" on the bag, and also said "THE BOSS" on top of the case - I remember this detail very clearly!
* Made 1994 or earlier (because they were using it that year of school)

Does anyone have a full Eureka catalog from the early-90s era?

Help, please!

I bought the basic Eureka Bravo 9002 with no on-board tools (dark blue hood and dark blue bag) for my parents in the mid 1990's. Was on sale for about CAD$120 at Canadian Tire. The one with the tools was very highly rated by Consumer Reports at the time.

Though very noisy, it was as easy to use as a lightweight Oreck, and the bag was humungous!

A fantastic deep carpet cleaner for the money....

So can anyone tell me what all the models were, and what years they were introduced?
Skystrick (and others),

In case you're still around and for others who are interested, I found a model list at shop.usaclean.com and looked up each model number in a digital newspaper database to compile the attached list of models and their main features. If I located an online photo I also included the bag cover/bag case and hood color. Years may not reflect actual production and full marketing due to the limited newspaper titles and ad inserts in the database. It's also possible that a couple model numbers are missing; because I already added a couple to the usaclean list that it had left out.

That list designated each of the model numbers with the BRAVO! model name. Even though you mentioned nothing about those with additional model names I decided to keep the POWERLINE GOLD and POWERLINE GOLD PLUS ones from the usaclean list because they do have BRAVO! on the hood and both names were included in ads. While WORLD VACs excluded the BRAVO! moniker, they have a similar design; so I left them on the list. Those with THE BOSS, BOSS PLUS, and MEGA BOSS model names also had BRAVO! on their hoods except for the WORLD VACs.

Eureka introduced the BRAVO! series in 1992 and replaced it in 1996 with the BRAVO II series.

Models located: 9001, 9002, 9003 9201, 9202, 9205, 9206, 9207, 9301, 9302, 9334, 9410, 9615, 9620, 9621, 9720, 9721, 9730, 9731, 9733, 9734, 9735, 9740, 9741, 9750, 9824, 9834, 9845, 9855, 9873, 9875, 9876
