So I was checking the Hoover website, just out of mild curiosity to see whether they stocked genuine parts for older cleaners, when I had a look at some of the current uprights they have on sale, I was pretty shocked to see that the glorified purepower, the Enigma, had a Quadruple A rating! I don't really know how this could be, one of the cleaning ladies at my school had a recent purepower, it was the red and white one, and it's brushroll was pitiful hardly any agitation, the suction was weak, and it spewed dust when I turned it on. How could Hoover make such drastic changes to essentially the same machine and get such a good rating? Is the brushroll different? New filters? New motor? I don't normally care about modern Hoovers, but this has peaked my interest...I wonder if the brushroll has returned to having beater bars or pads...

Ooh

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I had one of those in for repair a few weeks ago.</span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I wasn't impressed by it myself. Just take the ratings with a pinch of salt...

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;"> It makes me smile that they have such a high price for it on their site.</span>

<span style="font-family: book antiqua, palatino;">I also had the matching cylinder Enigma in for repair a month or so ago.</span>
